Heavy Duty Manual Raise Barrier
The Heavy Duty Manual Raise Barrier provides a simple and cost-effective way to control vehicle access to public and private car parks, entrances and restricted areas. Designed for locations where access needs to be controlled without the need for an automated system, this manual barrier is easy to operate, install and maintain.
Smooth One-Handed Operation
Unlike traditional manual barriers, this model uses two gas-assisted struts to provide smooth, controlled movement when raising and lowering the barrier. The gas struts make the barrier easy to operate throughout the day without significant effort or the need for a power supply. A soft-grip handle provides comfortable and user-friendly operation, allowing the barrier to be raised or lowered with one hand.
Quick and Easy Installation
The barrier is supplied fully assembled and ready for bolt-down installation, helping reduce installation time and costs. Its straightforward design means one engineer can safely install the barrier, provided the foundations are level and correctly aligned. Simply position and secure the barrier, fit the pole, test the operation, and the installation is complete.
All required anchor bolts are supplied:
- M16 anchor shield bolts for the main barrier
- M12 anchor shield bolts for the end rest
The barrier is recommended for installation onto hard surfaces.
Secure Locking System
The Heavy Duty Manual Barrier provides secure access control with locking points at both the main post and end rest. A lockable bolt-down end rest is supplied as standard, supporting the barrier when closed. The barrier can also be locked in both the open and closed positions using the supplied padlock. For added flexibility, the standard end rest can be replaced with an optional collapsible pogo support. This height-adjustable swinging beam support connects to the end of the barrier pole and supports it when closed.
Durable Powder-Coated Finish
The barrier is finished with a durable polyester powder coating, providing additional protection against damage, wear, tear and corrosion. Red is supplied as standard, with a red and white barrier pole. A yellow and black finish is also available as a non-standard option for an additional charge and extended lead time.
