2.4m High GRP Non-Conductive Palisade Security Fencing Kit
Our 2.4m High GRP Non-Conductive Palisade Security Fencing provides a strong, durable and low-maintenance security solution for sites where traditional metal fencing isn't suitable.
Made from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), the fencing is both electrically and thermally non-conductive, making it ideal for high-voltage and specialist environments. It's also lightweight, impact-resistant, and easy to handle during installation.
Ideal for High-Voltage & Specialist Sites
Because GRP doesn't conduct electricity, these palisade fencing kits are well suited to:
- Power stations and transformer sites
- Tram and train stations
- Railway lines and trackside locations
- High-voltage compounds
- Airports and aviation facilities
- Sites using radar or radio-based systems
The GRP panels are radar transparent, so they won't interfere with radar or radio signals, making them particularly useful for aviation and communications environments.
Corrosion & UV Resistant
GRP is highly resistant to chemicals, corrosion and UV exposure. This makes it an excellent choice for coastal and harsh environments where traditional metal fencing can rust or corrode. Once installed, GRP fencing requires very little maintenance and won't discolour over time, helping to provide a long-lasting security perimeter.
Anti-Climb Palisade Design
The 2.4m high panels feature single-point pales with an anti-climb profile, making them difficult to grip and climb. The intimidating design also acts as a strong visual deterrent against unauthorised access.
Despite being lightweight, GRP is incredibly strong and offers high impact resistance to help protect your site against attempted intrusion. The pales have been independently tested to meet the requirements of BS 1722-12:2016, including pull-out testing.
Self-Raking for Sloped Ground
These GRP palisade panels are self-raking, allowing the fencing to follow ground inclines of up to 30 degrees. This makes them a practical option for securing sloped boundaries and uneven property lines.
