The Gate Silencer Kit is a simple yet highly effective solution for reducing noise when a gate closes. Designed for both residential and communal areas, this kit ensures that gates close smoothly and quietly, minimising disturbances in noise-sensitive environments such as housing complexes, schools, offices, and hospitals. By incorporating rubber bumper stops, the Gate Silencer Kit significantly reduces the impact noise that occurs when a gate meets its post, preventing loud, disruptive sounds.
This silencing system is ideal for pedestrian gates, security gates, and entranceways, making it a versatile and practical addition to any gate installation. Whether you're looking to improve user experience in a shared space or simply wish to eliminate the harsh clanging of metal-on-metal contact, this kit is a must-have for noise reduction.
Manufactured for long-lasting durability, the Gate Silencer Kit features a black powder-coated finish, providing excellent resistance against corrosion, rust, and general wear and tear. This makes it particularly well-suited for outdoor use, where exposure to the elements can take a toll on less robust materials. The rubber bumper stops are made from high-quality, weather-resistant material, ensuring consistent performance in various weather conditions.
The compact yet effective design of the kit allows it to be used on gates of different sizes and materials, including metal, wooden, and composite gates. Its sturdy build ensures that it will maintain performance even after repeated use, making it an ideal long-term solution for noise reduction. The Gate Silencer Kit is designed for easy and efficient installation, making it suitable for DIY enthusiasts and professional installers alike.
The kit comes fully assembled and ready to be bolted to the gate post, reducing installation time and effort.
Mark the Position: Place the silencer kit against the gate post and mark the screw hole positions.
Drill and Tap Holes: Drill the appropriate-sized holes in the gate post and tap threads where necessary.
Secure the Kit: Use the four M8 x 20mm button head screws (included) to attach the silencer to the post securely.
Test the Gate: Close the gate to ensure it meets the rubber bumpers properly, adjusting if necessary for the best noise reduction.
