Fibreglass Telescopic Height Restriction Barrier
Height restriction barriers are essential items for roadworks and agricultural settings. The height barrier acts as a warning tool to drivers, alerting them to overhanging items such as power cables, which could cause serious damage if in close contact. They are also compliant with HSE GS6 (Avoiding danger from overhead power lines).
The Barrier Kit Contains:
- 2x Fibreglass Telescopic poles
- 2x heavy-duty base plates
- 25m of red and white plastic bunting.
The fiberglass telescopic poles' collapsed height is 1720mm, but with all the parts fully erected, it can reach a height of 7300m. The poles come in six sections, and pole parts can be added or removed to adjust the height for each location.
The two heavy-duty bases feature pre-drilled holes, allowing the barrier to be bolted to the ground for extra security if needed. The base plate dimensions are 500mm x 500m, and it weighs a total of 13.5 kg. The total weight of the kit is 37 kg. However, the base plates can be weighted down more by using sandbags as an extra precaution or if the ground is too soft for bolts.
The posts and bunting come in bright red and white to improve visibility for all drivers and warn them that they need to take caution and slow down while going through the height restriction barrier.
