The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, boasting dimensions of 2.4m in height and 4.0m in width, ensures comprehensive and adaptable access control. The EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is constructed from pre-galvanised steel, adhering to BS 10346 standards. This double defence mechanism guarantees reliable performance by resisting harsh outdoor elements, all while maintaining its aesthetic charm over the years.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The double-leaf gate kit comprises two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, the gate conforms to BS 12604 standards, guaranteeing safety even in the unlikely event of hinge failure. The gate hooks are skilfully welded to the gate post, creating a fixed-axis hinge that eradicates any vertical movement.
Pre-drilled holes simplify the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt. Plastic plugs are included to cover any unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water accumulation. Designed to work seamlessly with our security locks, the gate enables up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, facilitating a straightforward installation process.
Safety Compliance
The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors for easy supervision of children while playing. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.
The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.
Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
