Our gates, available in both single and double leaf configurations, come in a choice of polyester powder-coated colours, effortlessly blending with existing systems or corporate branding. They provide flexibility for both bolt-down and dig-in installations, ensuring adaptability across different ground surfaces. Key Features and Advantages
The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Gate stands out from its competitors with its environmentally conscious production, employing an original low-weld technique with custom laser-cut pre-galvanised elements. This ensures a sturdy assembly as they form very strong interlocked connections when pressed together, all the while minimising the need for energy-intensive welding, aligning with many customers' taste for much reduced environmental impact during manufacturing.
Made from quality pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates display excellent durability, enduring prolonged exposure to the harsh, outdoor elements. This coating guarantees years of reliable functionality while also preserving their aesthetic appeal.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates offer a modular and lightweight solution for speedy installation, accommodating diverse hardware. Designed with a universal fit, they provide on-site flexibility without requiring specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality allows for easy adjustments in case of gate shifts, providing flexibility beyond fixed hardware.
The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for stability, even in the event of a hinge failure. Gate hooks are welded to the gate post giving fixed-axis hinges that erase vertical movement.
Each gate comes pre-drilled for the simple attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face. Compatible with our security locks, the gate kit allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, ensuring ease of installation.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant is suitable for softer ground types, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts.
In addition to the gate kit, First Fence provides EnviroRail® Railings, Estate Railings, and Gates, offering a comprehensive range for various security needs. Consider enhancing security with a heavy-duty padlock as an additional measure.
