These double leaf gates are notable for their eco-friendly manufacturing. Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is constructed from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and coated with polyester powder for extended durability. This dual-layered protection ensures long-lasting functionality, resisting outdoor elements and preserving aesthetic appeal over the years.
The double-leaf gate kit includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf adhering to BS 12604 standards, the gate prioritises safety, even in the rare event of hinge failure. Securely welded gate hooks to the gate post provide a fixed-axis hinge, eliminating any up and down movement.
Pre-drilled holes facilitate the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt, complemented by plastic plugs to conceal unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water accumulation. Designed to seamlessly integrate with security locks, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, simplifying the installation process. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
