Introducing the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, featuring dimensions of 1.8m in height and 6.0m in width, providing a robust solution for comprehensive gate access control. This gate excels in entry control, allowing the operation of either one or both leaves. For enhanced security, consider including a locking drop bolt with the double leaf configuration, available as an additional purchase option.
The EnviroRail® Double Leaf Gates showcase a lightweight, completely modular system meticulously crafted for the quick installation of diverse gate hardware kits. With a universal design, these gates deliver on-site flexibility, enabling users to select their preferred leaf orientation. The modular functionality ensures adaptability, accommodating gate movement, distinguishing it from rigid, fixed hardware options.
These double leaf gates are notable for their eco-friendly manufacturing. Utilising a low-weld technique on custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components ensures robust joins without resource-intensive welding, catering to environmentally conscious customers – a feature First Fence takes pride in delivering.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
Each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is constructed from pre-galvanised steel, meeting BS 10346 standards, and coated with polyester powder for extended durability. This dual-layered protection ensures long-lasting functionality, resisting outdoor elements and preserving aesthetic appeal over the years.
The double-leaf gate kit includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf adhering to BS 12604 standards, the gate prioritises safety, even in the rare event of hinge failure. Securely welded gate hooks to the gate post provide a fixed-axis hinge, eliminating any up and down movement.
Pre-drilled holes facilitate the installation of gate eyes and a drop bolt, complemented by plastic plugs to conceal unused openings on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water accumulation. Designed to seamlessly integrate with security locks, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, simplifying the installation process.
The gate offers a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.
Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in dig-in or bolt-down versions, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version necessitates four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
