The First Fence EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate collection is meticulously designed to complement the corresponding EnviroRail® railing system. This gate will enhance the visual appeal of the surrounding environment while establishing a clearly defined boundary. Its versatility positions it as an ideal fencing solution for parks, schools, commercial, and residential properties, ensuring safety without compromising aesthetic charm.
As a notable extension to our EnviroRail® series, First Fence is delighted to present the gate kit. Whether in single or double leaf configurations, these gates offer a wide array of RAL colours to choose from. Available in both bolt-down and dig-in formats, they guarantee compatibility with diverse ground types. Features and Benefits
The EnviroRail® Flat Top Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 1.8m in height and 3.0m in width, provides highly versatile access control, allowing the selection of one or both leaves in open or closed positions. Among the taller double gates available, it easily accommodates foot traffic and small vehicle access, making it an ideal choice for the mid-sized gap.
What sets this gate kit apart is its eco-conscious manufacturing method. Utilising custom-made, laser-cut components pressed together during assembly significantly reduces the need for resource and energy-intensive welding. While some welding is still necessary, it's notably reduced compared to standard products, making it an environmentally conscious choice for gate production that First Fence proudly extends to our customers.
The EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight gate solution, ensuring easy installation for a variety of gate hardware. With universal handing, they provide on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, offering a level of adjustability that fixed hardware lacks.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Each gate comes with pre-drilled holes, simplifying the attachment of six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face of the gate. A locking drop bolt option is also available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for a double leaf gate.
The kit comprises two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety standards for stability, ensuring safety even if one hinge fails, preventing injury or property damage. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, featuring fixed-axis hinges.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse terrains. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain like turf and soil, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is suitable for harder ground surfaces using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
