As an addition to our EnviroRail® series, First Fence introduces the gate kit. Available in both single and double leaf configurations, these gates can be chosen in a diverse range of RAL colours and are offered in bolt-down or dig-in formats, ensuring compatibility with various ground types. Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 1.5m in height and 3.0m in width, provides versatile access control, allowing the choice of one or both leaves in open or closed positions. Among the taller double gates available, it accommodates foot traffic and small vehicle access easily, making it ideal for smaller breadth gateways.

This gate kit stands out due to its eco-conscious manufacturing method, utilising custom-made, laser-cut components that are pressed together during assembly, significantly reducing the need for resource and energy-intensive welding. While some welding is still necessary, it's notably reduced compared to standard products, making it an environmentally conscious choice for gate production, a point of pride for First Fence.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight gate solution, ensuring easy installation for a range of gate hardware. With universal handing, they offer on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications. This modularity provides an adjustable element that fixed hardware lacks.

Each gate comes with pre-drilled holes, simplifying the attachment of six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the gate's attack face. A locking drop bolt option is also available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for a double leaf gate.

The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety standards for stability, even if one hinge fails, crucial for preventing injury or property damage. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, presenting fixed axis hinges. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse terrains. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain like turf and soil, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is suitable for harder ground surfaces using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
