Offered in different heights and widths as single or double leaf options, these gate kits not only ensure a secure entry and exit for play areas but also enhance the overall aesthetics of the space.

The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 1.5m in height and 3.0m in width, offers flexible entry management. Despite its lower height, it helps you to control entry by allowing operation of one or both leaves. Explore the option of including a locking drop bolt with the double leaf configuration, which can be obtained as an additional purchase.
The EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a completely modular and lightweight solution, ensuring swift installation for a range of gate hardware. With universal handing, these gates give great flexibility on-site, eliminating the requirement for fixed left or right-hand specifications as the choice of the primary leaf can be made during installation. The sectional design allows easy adjustments in case of any gate movement, providing a level of flexibility that fixed hardware cannot deliver.
The EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate Kit stands out by utilising an eco-friendly technique, appealing to customers who prioritise reduced environmental impact. This innovative method involves custom laser-cut components pressed together for strong bonds, significantly reducing the need for energy-intensive welding.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
Each EnviroRail® Gate Kit is made from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder for long-lasting durability. This double-layered protection ensures sustained functionality, providing resistance to outdoor elements and preserving its aesthetic appeal over the years.
The double-leaf gate kit includes two hinge posts, two Play Sec Railing leaves, and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, it complies with BS 12604 for safety, even in the rare event of hinge failure. The fully welded gate hooks on the gate post create a fixed-axis hinge, eliminating vertical movement.
Pre-drilled holes ease attachment of gate eyes and a drop bolt, with included plastic plugs for unused holes on the gate attack face, ensuring a polished appearance and preventing water build-up. Compatible with our security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm adjustment from the catch post, simplifying installation.
Safety Compliance
The gate rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and the top bows of 90mm prevent wrist or neck trapping. The rail positioning allows parents, guardians, or supervisors easy supervision of children while playing. This enhances overall safety and reduces the risk of accidents. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate fully comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.
The gate provides a 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, with the gate opening 90° in and out.
Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in a dig-in or bolt-down version, suitable for diverse environments. The dig-in variant requires the addition of Post Mix to the order, while the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
