The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Gate collection by First Fence is crafted to complement the railing system of the same design. Its adaptability makes it an ideal fencing solution for parks, schools, commercial, and residential properties, ensuring safety without compromising on looks.

As a notable addition to our EnviroRail® series, First Fence introduces the gate kit. The gates, available in single and double leaf configuration, can be chosen in a wide range of RAL colours. They can be selected in bolt-down or dig-in formats, making them compatible with most ground types, however to ensure you get the correct post type, we highly recommend evaluating the ground pre-purchase or consulting our team for guidance.

Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 1.5m in height and 2.0m in width, gives you very versatile access control, allowing the choice of one or both leaves in the open or closed positions. Among the taller double gates available, it accommodates foot traffic and small vehicle access easily and is ideal for the smaller breadth gateway.

This gate kit stands apart from similar-looking products due to its eco-conscious manufacturing method. It utilises custom-made, laser-cut components which are pressed together during assembly and this significantly reduces the need for resource and energy-intensive welding. While some welding is still necessary, it's notably reduced when compared to standard products, making it an environmentally conscious choice for gate production, something that First Fence is proud to offer our customers.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight gate solution, ensuring easy installation for a range of gate hardware. With universal handing, they offer flexibility on-site without fixed left or right-hand specifications. This modularity gives an element of adjustability that fixed hardware doesn't give the user. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

Each gate comes with pre-drilled holes, which greatly simplifies the attachment of six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face of the gate. A locking drop bolt option is also available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for a double leaf gate.

The kit comprises two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety standards for stability, even if one hinge fails; this is very important to prevent injury or damage to property. Furthermore, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, presenting fixed axis hinges.

Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse terrains. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain like turf and soil, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is suitable for harder ground surfaces using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
