First Fence is thrilled to introduce the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate collection, designed to complement the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing series. The Flat Top Railing and gate stands out as an elegant and decorative fencing style, acting as a protective, yet attractive barrier, suitable for diverse settings, ranging from parks and educational institutions to commercial and residential areas. Striking a balance between security and aesthetics, it provides a sense of safety to public spaces while maintaining an inviting and inclusive atmosphere.

The EnviroRail® range from First Fence includes both gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available as single and double leaves in a variety of heights and widths, and they come in a range of polyester powder-coated colours.

Features and Benefits

EnviroRail®Flat Top Railing gates, though they may appear conventional, are crafted using an eco-friendlier low-weld technique. This innovative method involves custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components, forming robust bonds during assembly without the need for energy-intensive welding. This eco-friendly choice resonates with customers concerned about minimising environmental impact during production.

Crafted from pre-galvanised steel adhering to BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, the gates are built to endure outdoor conditions effectively.

EnviroRail® Gates feature a fully modular, lightweight design suitable for various hardware, ensuring swift and uncomplicated installation. With a universal orientation, they offer on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand leaf limitations. The modular functionality provides adjustability in case the gates move, a feature absent in fixed hardware.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

Each gate is pre-drilled with holes, facilitating easy installation of three hinges and a drop bolt. Provided plastic hole plugs offer coverage for unused holes on the attack face when a drop bolt isn't installed. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, meeting safety guidelines outlined in BS 12604. The gate's three hinges secure compliance, ensuring that in the unlikely event of even one failing, the gate remains in place, preventing potential injury or damage. Additionally, the three gate hooks are securely welded to the gate post giving fixed-axis hinges with no vertical movement.

Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit comes in dig-in or bolt-down versions, catering to diverse installation requirements. The dig-in option suits softer ground like soil or grass and necessitates Post Mix for securing the posts. Conversely, the bolt-down option, designed for firmer ground, uses four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post for a secure fixture.

When installed correctly, this gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have a 50mm ground clearance.

The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection. Consider enhancing security further with a heavy-duty padlock.
