Flat Top Railings, also known as flat handrails or flat bar railings, offer a modern railing system suitable for many different kinds of location.
This versatile range includes gate and railing panel kits, the gates are available in single and double leaf configurations. They come in a wide choice of polyester powder-coated colours that will effortlessly coordinate with current systems and corporate branding. The range's adaptability for both bolt-down and dig-in installations ensures flexibility across various ground surfaces. The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate stands out from similar products due to an eco-aware production method. This employs an innovative low-weld approach with bespoke, laser-cut pre-galvanised parts, ensuring robust assembly while reducing the need for energy-intensive welding. Created from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates in this range have excellent durability, and are able to endure prolonged exposure, something crucial to a product in permanent outdoor use. EnviroRail® Gates provide a completely modular and lightweight solution for swift installation, easily accommodating diverse hardware requirements. Universally designed, they offer on-site flexibility without specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality allows for easy adjustments in case of gate shifts, providing flexibility beyond fixed hardware.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for stability, even in the event of a hinge failure. Gate hooks are welded to the gate post giving fixed-axis hinges to eliminate vertical movement.
Each gate comes pre-drilled for straightforward attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face. Compatible with our security locks, the gate kit allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, ensuring ease of installation.
Designed for versatility the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in various heights and widths, also as a double leaf variant, ensuring we have the perfect gate for your needs. Our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, making them suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Prior to buying your gate, it is wise to carry out a ground assessment to determine the precise gate post style you will need.
When installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
Finishing Touches
To finish your gate, perhaps select an add-on purchase of a Slider Kit to ensure your gate stays closed. The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection. Consider enhancing security further with a heavy-duty padlock.
