In the EnviroRail® range, First Fence introduces a selection of gate and railing panel kits. The gates, offered in both single and double leaf configurations, feature a wide range of polyester powder-coated colours, seamlessly blending with existing systems or your corporate branding. These gates are versatile, suitable for both bolt-down and dig-in installations, ensuring compatibility with diverse ground surfaces. The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Gate, despite its seemingly standard appearance, stands out in the market due to its environmentally conscious manufacturing method. Employing a unique low-weld technique, the system incorporates custom laser-cut pre-galvanised elements, forming robust bonds when pressed together, and lessening the reliance on energy-intensive welding. This environmentally conscious approach aligns with customer preferences to minimise the environmental footprint during the manufacturing process.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates deliver exceptional durability, enduring prolonged exposure to outdoor elements, ensuring years of dependable service. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates provide a modular and lightweight solution, facilitating rapid installation to meet various hardware requirements. With a universal design, they offer on-site flexibility without the need for specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality allows for swift adjustments in the event of gate shifts, providing flexibility beyond fixed gate hardware.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability, even in the event of a single hinge failure. Additionally, gate hooks are welded to the gate post, with fixed-axis hinges eliminating vertical movement.
Each gate is pre-drilled, making it easy to attach three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are provided to cover any unused holes on the attack face. This will prevent water gathering inside and gives a sleek finish to the gate.
Offered in a range of heights and widths, our gate kits are available in both dig-in and bolt-down versions, providing versatility for installation in various settings. The dig-in variant is well-suited for softer ground types, necessitating Post Mix for a secure installation. Conversely, the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces and is secured using four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts.
This gate has fully modular locking ability and is compatible with our security locks, this gate kit, when installed correctly, allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have a 50mm ground clearance.
