In the EnviroRail® line up, First Fence has a variety of gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available in single and double leaf set ups, and providing a diverse palette of polyester powder-coated colours for perfect integration with your existing systems or corporate branding. These gates are very adaptable, suitable for both bolt-down and dig-in installations, ensuring compatibility with various ground surfaces. The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Gate, though appearing to be a standard item, stands out in the market due to its environmentally conscious production process. Employing an original low-weld technique, the system integrates custom laser-cut pre-galvanised elements, creating sturdy connections when pressed together, and reducing the reliance on energy-intensive welding. This environmentally conscious approach resonates with customer preferences for minimising the environmental impact during the manufacturing process.
Crafted from pre-galvanised steel that complies with BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates showcase remarkable durability, withstanding extended exposure to outdoor elements and guaranteeing years of dependable utility.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates offer a versatile and lightweight gate solution, allowing quick installation to accommodate diverse hardware needs. Featuring a universal design, these gates provide on-site flexibility, eliminating the requirement for specific left or right-hand specifications and streamlining decision-making during installation. The modular functionality enables effortless adjustments in case of gate shifts, extending flexibility beyond traditional fixed hardware solutions.
The kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability, even in the event of a single hinge failure. Additionally, gate hooks are welded to the gate post, with fixed-axis hinges eliminating vertical movement. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Every gate is pre-drilled, making it easy to attach three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are provided to cover any unused holes on the attack face.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant is suitable for softer ground types, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts.
With its fully modular locking ability it is compatible with our security locks, this gate kit, when installed correctly, allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have a 50mm ground clearance.
