These Flat Top Railings, alternatively referred to in the industry as flat handrails or flat bar railings, provide a modern railing solution suitable for many settings. Acknowledged for their horizontally-oriented, flat top surface, these railings showcase a contemporary design that transforms conventional fencing into an attractive structure. EnviroRail® Gates provide a completely modular and lightweight gate solution, facilitating swift installation meeting various hardware needs. They are universally handed, eliminating the requirement for fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing on-site flexibility and simplifying decision-making during installation. This modular functionality gives adjustability, accommodating for gate movement, a feature absent in traditional fixed hardware.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability even in the unlikely event that even a single hinge fails. Additionally, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, providing fixed axis hinges with no vertical movement.
Every gate comes with pre-drilled holes, streamlining the process of attaching the three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face, preventing water accumulation inside the structure and enhancing the gate's overall appearance. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Designed for versatility, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in an extensive choice of heights and widths, including a double-leaf variant, ensuring we have the perfect gate for your needs. The gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Before purchasing your gate, a ground assessment is advisable to determine the precise gate post style needed.
When correctly installed, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, with a 50mm ground clearance.
Finishing Touches
The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
