First Fence is thrilled to introduce the EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Gate series, a perfect complement to our EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing collection.
Within the EnviroRail® line up, First Fence showcases both gate and railing panel kits. Our gates are offered in single and double leaf configurations, and in a diverse selection of polyester powder-coated colour choices, allowing seamless integration with existing systems or corporate branding. These gates are versatile, suitable for both bolt-down and dig-in installations, ensuring compatibility with various ground surfaces. We recommend carrying out a ground assessment before purchasing or seeking advice from our team to ensure the right product for your needs.
The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Gate, though it may seem standard, distinguishes itself in the market due to its environmentally conscious production process. Employing a low-weld technique, the system utilises custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components, forming robust bonds when pressed together, and reducing the need for energy-intensive welding. This eco-friendly approach aligns with many customer preferences for minimising environmental impact during manufacturing.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates have exceptional durability, enduring prolonged exposure to outdoor elements and giving years of reliable functionality.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates offer a completely modular and lightweight solution, facilitating rapid installation to meet a variety of hardware requirements. With a universal design, they provide on-site flexibility without the need for specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality allows easy adjustments in the event of gate shifts, offering flexibility that fixed hardware cannot give.
The kit comprises an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability, even in the event of a hinge failure. Additionally, gate hooks are welded to the gate post, with fixed-axis hinges eliminating vertical movement.
Each gate comes pre-drilled, which simplifies the attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant is suitable for softer ground types, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts.
This modular kit is compatible with our security locks. The gate, when installed correctly, allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have a 50mm ground clearance.
In addition to the gate kit, First Fence offers EnviroRail® Railings, Estate Railings, and Gates, providing a comprehensive range for various security needs. Enhance security by considering a heavy-duty padlock as an additional measure.
