Constructed from pre-galvanised steel in compliance with BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, each EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit ensures strength and resilience against challenging outdoor conditions. This two-layer protection not only ensures reliable functionality but also maintains aesthetic appeal over the years. A choice of RAL colours is available to give your gate a bright and lively finish.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates are renowned for their versatility and straightforward installation. The modular, lightweight design and adaptable handedness provide exceptional flexibility on-site, eliminating constraints associated with fixed left or right-hand leaf orientations. This modular functionality allows for adjustments, offering flexibility that fixed hardware cannot match.
The single leaf gate kit includes a hinge and catch post, a Play Sec Railing leaf, and three adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges complying with BS 12604 standards, safety is maintained even in the unlikely event of a hinge failure. The fully welded gate hooks add an extra layer of security by establishing fixed-axis hinges with no vertical movement.
Pre-drilled holes streamline the attachment of gate eyes and a drop bolt, accompanied by plastic plugs to conceal any unused holes on the gate attack face. The gate is designed to be compatible with security locks, allowing for an adjustment of up to 30mm from the catch post, ensuring a straightforward installation process. When correctly installed, the gate provides a 50mm ground clearance and opens at a 90° angle as a single leaf gate. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Safety Compliance
Rails set at 100mm centres prevent entrapment, and top bows at 90mm prevent wrist or neck traps. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate adhere to BS EN 1176 regulations.
Available in various heights and widths, these gates are offered in dig-in or bolt-down versions, suitable for diverse environments. For the dig-in variant, Post Mix must be added to the order, and the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
