1.5m High x 1.829m Wide EchoGroove Lite Acoustic Panel | 1 |
Transform your outdoor space with EchoGroove Lite, a premium reflective acoustic barrier designed for simple installation and outstanding durability. For effortless sound control and lasting style, EchoGroove Lite provides an effective and attractive soundproofing solution.
The EchoGroove Lite system is engineered for straightforward installation, saving you time and effort. The solid, interlocking pine panels are designed to either fix directly to timber posts or slot seamlessly into concrete posts or steel Duraposts. The acoustic fence panel's flexibility makes it the perfect choice for any landscape, including uneven ground and sloped sites. Crafted from solid pine boards, our panels offer a robust and seamless finish.
EchoGroove Lite is part of First Fence's extensive timber acoustic fencing line.
Pre-Assembled Solid Panels: The panels are delivered ready-made from solid, interlocking timber boards, which creates a dense, gap-free barrier.
Pressure-Treated Timber: The wood is industrially treated with a high-quality preservative (TANALITH) to protect it from rot, fungal decay, and insect attack. This type of treated timber is ideal for in-ground contact.
Integrated Gravel Board: A built-in timber gravel board at the base of the panel designed to be in contact with the ground, protecting the main body of the fence from moisture and decay.
Standardised Dimensions: Panels come in a standard width (1.829m / 6ft) with a choice of heights, making planning and purchasing straightforward.
Versatile Post Compatibility: Designed to be easily installed with both traditional timber posts and slotted concrete posts.
Surface Incising: Key ground-contact components like posts and gravel boards have small incisions made in their surface to allow for deeper penetration of the wood preservative, enhancing protection.
Effective Noise Reduction: The primary benefit. The high mass and solid construction reflect sound waves, significantly reducing noise from sources like traffic, neighbours, and commercial activity. This creates a more peaceful and private outdoor environment. This product meets Highways England's requirement of Acoustic Test BN EN 1793 to provide a noise reduction of 25dB providing a rating of B3 - the highest rating possible.
Speed and Ease of Installation: Because the panels are pre-assembled, installation is much faster than building a fence from individual components. This reduces labour costs and makes it a viable DIY project for many.
Excellent Durability & Long Lifespan: The pressure treatment and robust design ensure a long service life (e.g., 15 years), protecting your investment and minimising the need for repairs or replacements.
Low Maintenance: The preservative treatment protects the timber for years, removing the need for annual staining or treating that is required with untreated wood.
Aesthetic Appeal: The solid wood construction provides a natural and traditional look that enhances the appearance of a property, which can be further customised with options like a trellis top.
Along Busy Roads: To shield homes and gardens from the constant noise of traffic.
Near Railway Lines: To reduce the intermittent, high-decibel noise from passing trains.
Between Neighbours: To create privacy and block noise from adjoining gardens, patios, hot tubs, or play areas.
Around Home Machinery: To enclose noisy air conditioning units or heat pumps.
Pub Gardens & Restaurant Patios: To contain noise and minimise disturbance to nearby residents.
Supermarket & Retail Car Parks: To screen delivery bays and customer traffic from residential areas.
Schools & Nurseries: To protect playgrounds from external traffic noise and contain the sound of children playing.
Industrial & Utility Sites: To shield residential zones from the noise of light industrial activity, generators, or substations.
As this acoustic fence panel comes ready assembled, installation is relatively simple. This panel is compatible with either timber, concrete or DuraPosts. This is a dig in product that will need to be concreted into the ground; an assessment will be required to ascertain the product required.
These panels can be painted with a breathable stain or paint. Before you begin, clear all vegetation from the planned fence line. For long-term durability, ensure the posts are installed in well-drained ground and not in areas with standing water.
The timber acoustic barriers have a 15 years desired service life offered by the manufacturer and are designed to be maintenance free, following a correct installation. A consultation with a structural engineer is required to verify wind loading suitability for your specific site.
The EchoGroove Lite system is also available in a 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.4m height. First Fence has a line of heavier duty products measuring 2.4m and 3.0m in width and measuring from 1.8m to 10.0m in height. These are available in EchoGroove, EchoReflect and EchoAbsorb styles.
Also available is a range of Sound Absorption Barriers and accessories.
