Size 7 Tube Combination Socket (A30) Key Clamp Fitting
The Combination Socket, or the A30 fitting as it is also known, fits three tubes; one tube will fit vertically and through the key clamp, which tends to be the outside post of a structure. This vertical tube will provide support and reinforcement to the load bearing horizontal tube with a connection of 90°. A section tube will fit through the clamp; with a third tube fitting into the clamp and both of these will be positioned horizontally. This type of key clamp fitting can be used in a variety of guardrail and handrail structures and is commonly found within racking systems.
Please Note: The three tubes that are to be used in conjunction with this A30 fitting will need to be Size 7 and have an outside diameter of 42.4mm.
With no need for expensive tools or specific skills, the installation of the Combination Socket is simple and easy with only a Hex Key required; this is used to tighten the Grub Screws within the structure and ensure that everything is secured in place. A Hex Key is not included with the fitting and will need to be purchased separately.
Supplied in galvanised steel, the A30 has added resistance against corrosion and weathering, meaning it will have a long lifespan with limited maintenance required.
