Gatwick Construction were looking for a safe, secure fencing and gate solution for Downlands Community School. As it was for a school, it needed to provide protection to safeguard the children, but still be aesthetically pleasing.

Multiple areas of the school require a gate to add extra security for the children and staff members.

With various mesh types available from us, they reviewed the styles and decided to go with our 1.8m dig-in 656 mesh fencing with an 868 single leaf mesh gate.

As standard, mesh fencing is powder-coated to provide increased resilience to damage and weathering, as well as being more suited to the school environment, as it will look friendlier for children.

Downlands Community School decided to go with our black RAL colour for their powder coating, but we do have a wide range of colours available; however, if you require a specialist colour, we can organise this for you.

The school were so pleased with the final look, feel and quality of the products, and it is providing the safety they require between different areas of the school.

All of our mesh gates are manufactured and supplied by us here at First Fence, and the majority of them are kept in stock at our depots, enabling us to offer unbeatable lead times. We can also provide great lead times on many of our custom orders, due to the fact that we make our mesh gates on-site.
