First Fence Continues to Expand with Range of New Vehicles
First Fence is pleased to announce significant growth with the addition of a range of new vehicles, from Sprinters to Artic’s.

First Fence has recently added 15 new Mercedes Sprinter Vans, 5 Iveco Daily 7.2 tonne flatbeds from Sherwood truck and van, and 2 DAF XG tractor units from Motus Commercials to their current fleet.

There are also additional plans for four 32 tonne flatbed Mercedes trucks with the latest Euro engines and technology to aid drivers further, due to arrive in early 2024. These will have a full Moffet conversion enabling us to offer additional customer offloads.

The acquisition of these new vehicles is a strategic move aimed at enhancing their ability to deliver products and services to customers efficiently.

So, why are First Fence investing in additional vehicles?

These vehicles are equipped with new technology and safety features to ensure that deliveries are made securely and on time.

The newer vehicles are also more efficient in terms of fuel and are more environmentally friendly with newer engines that emit fewer pollutants, reducing the company’s environmental impact. With this investment, First Fence can further streamline its operations, enhancing customer satisfaction.

“We are delighted to add a range of new, more environmentally friendly vehicles to our fleet, commented Vinny Kotecha, Director of First Fence.

“These vehicles bring with them the creation of employment opportunities with First Fence, and will help us to improve our ability to meet customer demands. These investments show our dedication to delivering high quality fencing solutions, promptly to our customers.”

"We have built up a great working relationship with Mertrux, Motus Commercials and Sherwood truck and van, and they have helped guide us on the best vehicles that can help our business and equip our depots, whilst considering the environmental impact, commented Vinny Kotecha, Director of First Fence.

“It gives me great pleasure to have played a small part of First Fence Ltd’s growth across the UK from operating from the farm back in 2014 to today, operating out of 6 depots spanning from Bristol to Glasgow,” commented Tim Gough, Van Sales Executive at Mertrux.

Richard Byard, Regional Sales Manager at Motus Commercials commented, “The DAF trucks are the first to enter First Fence’s growing fleet. With the new XG excelling in driver comfort, efficiency for the operator and safety for other road users these were factors First Fence took into consideration when going with DAF and Motus Commercials.”

“The units will also be supplied with a 24-month R&M package which will be facilitated at the recently opened Motus Service Point in Burton on Trent.

IVECO UK Light Business-line Director, Mike Cutts said “The IVECO Daily is the perfect solution for operators looking to improve efficiency while retaining mission capability.”

“Its strong truck-based chassis enables businesses such as First Fence to downsize from larger trucks, reducing fuel consumption and the total cost of ownership, all while maintaining impressive payload capacity. We can’t wait to see these first five IVECO Dailys on the road with First Fence.”

This strategic investment is not only about expanding the fleet, it shows the commitment First Fence has to innovation, sustainability and customer satisfaction.

In addition to the range of vehicles, First Fence isn’t showing signs of slowing down, with plans to venture into new regions and establish additional depots by 2024.

Enabling the company to hold more stock, making products more readily available for our customers, for when they need them.
