Big Foot Stabiliser System
Temporary Fencing is a highly utilised system in industries where interim boundary outlining, creating of safe working zones, crowd management and site security are of importance. It is a light weight system constructed from pre-galvanised steel, that transports easily and is relatively quick and simple to put together. It is reusable and can be used on future projects, so is a good investment too.
Its light weight can make it vulnerable to the fluctuations in weather conditions, if the site it is erected onto is a wide expanse of land then it can be blown over in strong winds. Clearly this is a site hazard and steps should be taken to prevent this from occurring.
There are various methods to secure temporary fencing and the Big Foot Stabiliser System has everything you need. It consists of a Big Foot Tubular Spigot Base, Big Foot Stabiliser HD and Big Foot Block Tray.
To assemble, attach the block tray to the spigot base then insert the tubular leg of the fencing panel to the base. The Stabiliser then attaches the block tray to the panel with couplers.
The block tray allows extra weight to be added to the system which will give the fencing panel more security. It will not only prevent the panels falling it will prevent anyone trying to lift it to gain unauthorised access.
It is suggested that one stabilising block tray system be used for every other panel, however if your site is prone to very strong winds you may need to consider using one per panel.
