The robust water-filled Evo Barrier System is a reliable solution for a wide range of workplace safety requirements. Suitable for both temporary diversions and permanent installations, these barriers offer long-term usability across multiple environments.
Lightweight Design with Exceptional Stability
When empty, the Evo Barriers are lightweight and easy to transport between locations. Once filled with water, they become significantly heavier, ensuring they remain firmly in position. This balance of portability and stability makes them practical for dynamic sites where layouts may change.
Intelligent Base Design for Maximum Security
Stability is paramount in any effective barrier system, and the Evo Barrier addresses this with an intelligently designed base. Its wide footprint provides a secure foundation, reducing the risk of tipping or movement, even on uneven surfaces.
For added reassurance in exposed or windy environments, the base includes integrated channels that can be filled with sand or water. This additional ballast significantly enhances stability, helping the barrier remain secure under challenging conditions.
Effective Size & Visibility
Measuring 1000mm in width and 555mm in height, the Evo Barrier creates a clear physical boundary. It effectively deters unauthorised access while guiding pedestrian movement in a controlled and safe manner.
Available in red and white, the contrasting colours ensure high visibility in any environment. This makes the system particularly well-suited to construction sites, where clear differentiation from site traffic is essential.
Durable, Tested Construction
Manufactured from UV-stabilised MDPE, the Evo Barrier System is built for durability and long service life. The barriers have undergone MIRA testing to validate their performance. During testing, three 1.0m Evo Barriers filled to the waterline and fitted with mini mesh panels successfully withstood wind speeds of up to 55mph.
Versatile Applications
The Evo Barrier System is suitable for a wide range of applications. On construction sites, it is commonly used to separate work zones from pedestrian walkways, enhancing safety and preventing unauthorised access.
Event organisers use the water-filled barriers for crowd control, guiding attendees and creating clearly defined routes. Roadside and public realm projects also benefit from the system’s Chapter 8-compliant design, which helps to establish safe pedestrian areas alongside live traffic.
Interlocking & Expandable System
A key feature of the Evo Barrier System is its versatility. The interlocking design allows multiple barriers to be securely connected, creating long, continuous runs as required. This also discourages tampering and helps maintain the integrity of restricted areas.
Additional options include the ability to fit mesh or reflective panels. If required, please advise at the time of ordering so we can supply the barriers with pre-drilled holes.
The Evo Barrier System is also available in multiple sizes, including the Evo 80 and 1.5m Evo. These can be combined to create variable-height barrier solutions tailored to specific site requirements.
Storage & Transport
