Armco Galvanised Steel Posts

Armco Safety Barriers require strong steel posts to maintain a strong and robust impact protection system. We offer a wide range of strong steel posts specifically designed to maintain a strong and robust impact protection system for Armco safety barriers.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, they have been manufactured from high-quality steel, which is then galvanised with a protective zinc coating Providing our steel posts with added resistance to corrosion, which will prevent the development of rust. This increases the longevity of the Armco crash barrier system meaning that it will require little maintenance once it has been installed.

For heightened durability and aesthetic appeal, our steel posts also feature a polyester powder-coated (PPC) finish in high-visibility yellow. This finish will provide extra protection against damaging factors such as weathering or vandalism, as well as a sleek and aesthetically pleasing look.

Post Types

We have both RSJ and ‘Z’ style Posts available, which are the most commonly used type which can be seen on industrial and public sites around the country.

RSJ Posts are made from galvanised steel and are the strongest and most secure type of Armco post. Our posts are designed for use in high-traffic areas and can withstand higher speed impacts than Z posts.

Z posts are made from galvanised steel and are a less expensive and lighter type of Armco post. They are designed for use in lower-risk areas where there is less likelihood of high-speed impacts.

Installation

Armco safety barriers can be installed on both hard and soft ground. We offer both dig-in and bolt-down posts to suit your specific needs.

Dig-in posts are designed to be installed in soft ground types where a hole can be easily dug such as grass. They are installed by digging a hole in the ground and then inserting the post into the hole. The post is then secured in place with post mix.

Bolt-down posts are designed to be installed in hard ground areas such as concrete or tarmac. They secured to the ground with ground anchors.
