The Apollo 2.4m High x 1.5m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit is a strong, secure and versatile solution for pedestrian access in medium-security environments. Designed to integrate perfectly with Twin Mesh fencing systems, this gate is an ideal choice for areas where controlled entry and durability are essential, such as schools, commercial sites, industrial estates, and public spaces.

Manufactured from high-quality steel and built to exacting standards, this gate features the trusted 868 twin wire mesh construction—comprised of 6mm vertical wires and twin 8mm horizontal wires. This configuration delivers exceptional strength, making the gate highly resistant to damage from impact or attempted vandalism. The narrow mesh spacing acts as an anti-climb barrier, reducing the risk of intrusion while allowing full visibility through the gate for safety and surveillance purposes.

At 2.4 metres in height, this gate adds an extra layer of deterrence and is well-suited to areas requiring a taller perimeter boundary. Its width of 1.5 metres offers ample space for pedestrian traffic, push trolleys, grounds maintenance equipment and bicycles to pass through comfortably, while still ensuring that access remains controlled.

This single leaf gate is compatible not only with twin mesh fencing but also with V Mesh and Safe Top Mesh systems, allowing for a seamless appearance across various fencing types. The gate is galvanised to BS EN 10346 standards and finished with a durable polyester powder coating to BS 13438, offering long-lasting resistance against corrosion and harsh weather conditions. A range of standard RAL colours is available, and bespoke colours can be requested to match existing site aesthetics or corporate branding.

For installation, the Apollo gate is supplied with the option of bolt-down posts for hard standing areas or dig-in posts for installation into softer ground. The gate can be hinged to open either to the left or right, allowing for flexible site planning. Its mitred corners not only improve structural integrity but also give the gate a neat and professional appearance.

Security features include a modular sliding latch, which can be padlocked for basic protection or upgraded to a digital lock or quick-exit system for enhanced access control. These options make the gate suitable for a variety of locations with different operational needs.

Included in the kit are the gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, sliding latch, drop bolt, adjustable gate eyes, and plastic ribbed inserts for both the gate frame and posts. Please note that post mix and ground anchor bolts are not included but can be purchased separately.
