The Apollo® 1.8m x 5.0m Single Leaf Gate provides a robust and versatile access control solution for large entry points. With a 5.0m wide opening and 1.8m height, this gate is ideal for securing areas requiring access for HGVs, plant machinery, or multi-lane vehicle traffic. Whether for industrial premises, educational institutions, or public areas, it offers dependable performance without compromising ease of access.
Key Features
868 Twin Mesh Infill
Fitted with a high-strength 868 twin wire mesh panel, this gate offers excellent resistance to vandalism and forced entry. The mesh features twin 8mm horizontal wires and a 6mm vertical wire, forming a tough, tamper-resistant surface.
The openings within the mesh infill provide a great level of visibility for additional security systems such as CCTV, whilst remaining small enough to prevent would-be intruders from being able to use them as sufficient hand and foot holds, making climbing over incredibly difficult.
Weather-Resistant Professional Finish
Built with smooth, mitred corners to eliminate sharp edges, the Apollo® gate enhances safety for personnel and visitors. A durable Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) finish protects against rust caused by harsh environmental conditions. Choose from a range of colour options to match your site aesthetics.
Flexible Installation with Modular Design
The modular design allows quick and straightforward installation. The gate leaf can be mounted to open from either side, offering installation flexibility without needing to specify orientation in advance.
Kit Contents
Designed for compatibility with existing 868, 656, and 358 mesh fencing systems, the gate can be easily integrated into new or existing perimeter layouts. Each kit includes:
- 1x 5.0m Wide Gate Leaf (868 Twin Mesh)
- 1x Hinge Post
- 1x Receiver Post
- 1x Sliding Latch Kit
- 3x Adjustable Gate Eyes
- Plastic End Caps and Inserts
Add an extra layer of security with the Gatemaster Locking System, available as an optional upgrade. Designed for seamless retrofitting, it works with all Apollo® mesh gates and installs quickly with minimal tools.
Versatile Ground Fixing Options
Choose the right post type for your ground conditions:
- Bolt Down Posts: Best for concrete or hard surfaces. Requires 4x M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
- Dig-In Posts: Ideal for softer surfaces such as soil or grass. Use with a suitable post mix (please confirm quantities before ordering).
Triple Hinge Configuration
A triple hinge setup ensures superior stability and long-term functionality. By evenly distributing the gate’s weight, it reduces strain on each hinge. Even in the event of a hinge issue, the remaining hinges maintain gate support, preventing injury and allowing the gate to be used if still required.
