Providing a secure and practical access point for a wide range of environments, the Apollo 1.5m High x 2.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit is designed to meet the demands of modern sites that require both functionality and durability. This pedestrian gate is fully compatible with a variety of fencing systems, including 868 twin wire mesh, V mesh, and Safe Top mesh, allowing for seamless integration into new or existing perimeter lines while maintaining a consistent appearance and level of security.
This gate is constructed using the trusted 868 twin wire mesh system, featuring dual 8mm horizontal wires welded around strong 6mm vertical wires. This configuration creates a rigid and tamper-resistant structure that provides excellent security without obstructing visibility. The close mesh pattern is difficult to climb or cut, making it a reliable deterrent for unauthorised access while allowing clear lines of sight for improved safety and monitoring.
With a generous 2.0m width, this single leaf gate offers ample clearance for wider pedestrian flow, push trolleys, or small maintenance equipment. The frame is reinforced with mitred corners to enhance strength and maintain its shape during frequent use. Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 standards and powder coated to BS 13438, the gate is well protected against corrosion and harsh weather, ensuring a long service life with minimal maintenance.
The Apollo gate kit is designed with flexibility in mind. It includes either bolt down or dig in posts to suit different installation surfaces, and the universal hanging design means the gate can be fitted to open left or right as required. The gate is supplied with a modular sliding latch system that can be padlocked for basic security. For enhanced protection and ease of access control, it is compatible with digital gate locks or quick-exit locking systems.
Included in the kit are all key components: the gate leaf, hinge and catch posts, sliding latch, drop bolt, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed plastic inserts for the frame and posts. The gate is finished in a choice of standard RAL colours, with custom colour options available to suit your project.
Please note, post mix (for dig in) or ground anchor bolts (for bolt down) are not supplied but can be sourced separately.
