The Apollo 1.8m High x 6.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is engineered for durability, security, and seamless integration with modern mesh fencing systems. Ideal for medium to high-traffic environments, this twin mesh gate provides controlled access for pedestrians, service vehicles, and light traffic, making it perfect for schools, industrial premises, sports grounds, playgrounds, and commercial properties.

This gate features the high-strength 868 twin wire mesh configuration, with 6mm vertical wires crossed by 8mm horizontal wires, offering excellent rigidity and resistance to vandalism, cutting, and impact. The open mesh format promotes clear visibility through the gate, supporting safe surveillance while maintaining a non-intimidating presence, especially valuable in public and community-focused locations.

With a total width of 6.0 metres (3.0m per leaf), the Apollo double leaf design offers a wide and practical access point that accommodates both foot traffic and vehicles such as maintenance vans, delivery trucks, and service equipment. Each gate leaf is universal, meaning it can be installed as either left-hand or right-hand hung, depending on your specific site requirements, giving you greater flexibility during setup.

Constructed from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 standards, the Apollo gate offers long-term resistance to corrosion. It is then powder-coated to BS 13438, enhancing durability and giving the structure a clean, professional finish. The powder coating is available in a range of RAL colours, allowing you to match your gate with surrounding fencing or the overall aesthetics of the site. Custom colours can also be arranged upon request.

The gate frame includes mitred corners, adding extra strength and reinforcing structural integrity, which is particularly beneficial for wide gates subject to frequent use and environmental stress, such as wind. For security, the gate includes a sliding latch as standard, which can be padlocked or upgraded with digital locks or quick-exit locking systems for enhanced control. Drop bolts are also included to secure the leaves in place when opened or closed.

This twin mesh gate kit is available with either bolt-down or dig-in posts, suitable for various ground types. Use dig-in posts with post mix on softer surfaces like soil or grass, or opt for bolt-down posts when installing on concrete or hard standing. Please note: ground anchor bolts and post mix are not included and should be purchased separately based on your installation surface.

The Apollo 1.8m x 6.0m Double Leaf Gate is also compatible with a wide range of mesh fencing types, including 868 mesh, 656 mesh, V mesh, and other standard systems, making it ideal for both new and retrofit installations.
