This Aluminium Pedestrian Gate is a full privacy design with a solid, horizontal infill that has a flat top edge. It is a very modern and sleek design that will suit both a contemporary and a more traditional house style, adding a level of security while enhancing the look of your home. It will be a useful addition to your general home security strategy, deterring intruders and keeping out other unwanted visitors.

This gate has been constructed from lightweight aluminium, which has a natural rust retarding quality, so it is less vulnerable to the damaging effects of bad weather and temperature changes in a way that some traditional gate materials cannot be. It is well-suited to the saline environment of coastal locations, too, as it is less susceptible to salt corrosion, which is so damaging to outdoor products.

This gate model is 1200mm wide and comes in several heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m. It also comes with all necessary gate furniture: 2 wall-mounted and 1 floor-mounted hinges, 1 lock and handle set, and a full-length lock keep. Gate posts are only needed if you have nothing to attach the gate to.

The Pedestrian Gate is polyester powder coated in black or grey; however, non-standard colours are available too, just get in touch for details. Powder coating gives a good layer of protection from the damage of wear and tear, as it is more resistant to chipping than standard paint. This is clearly beneficial when a product is in continual outdoor use.

Aluminium is recyclable so this gate can be considered to be an eco-friendly option. Also, it requires very little to keep it looking good; just a wash down with soapy water will do the trick. They come with a five-year manufacturer's guarantee from Ready Made Gates.
