This gate is constructed from aluminium and has a solid diagonal infill and a flat top edge. Aluminium is very strong yet is lightweight too, and so makes it perfect for the fabrication of gates when compared to more traditional materials such as cast and wrought iron, or wood. It is immensely resistant to rust and corrosion, so it will not suffer from the varying weather conditions it may face. In fact, it becomes stronger in lower temperatures, so it is perfect for the UK buyer!
This model is 1200mm wide and is available in these heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m. All necessary gate furniture is included with the gate: 2 wall-mounted and 1 floor-mounted hinges, 1 lock and handle set, and a full-length lock keep. Gate posts are only needed if you have nothing to attach the gate to.
The gate comes with a polyester powder coating, which gives it a very fine and high-quality finish. This coating also acts in a protective way and helps to prevent damage from daily use as it doesn't chip as readily as other paint coverings.
In order to keep the gate looking new, you simply wash it down with soapy water and rinse it. There is no special treatment required, and the gates also have a 5-year manufacturer's guarantee from Ready Made Gates.
Please Note: The gates only open 1 way, 90 degrees inwards from outside. They can be made to open outwards, but this needs to be specified at the time of ordering. Please contact us for more information.
