This double leaf gate is ideal if you are looking to add some privacy and security to your driveway and, consequently, your home. It is constructed from aluminium and features a solid vertical infill with a curved top edge and will enhance your property with its stylish good looks. The infill forms a solid defence and obscures the view of whatever lies behind the gate. Home security is so important, and this is just one way of attending to it.
Aluminium is a very versatile and useful construction material. It is light weight, sturdy and durable and has a natural resistance to rust due to the aluminium oxide that forms when it meets the air, so it is well-suited to a product that is in daily outdoor use and all the harsh weather it faces. The gate comes with a polyester powder coating in black or grey as standard, however other non-standard colours are available so please get in touch for details. This coating provides a defence against damage, wear and tear and weathering, yet it also gives the gate a very pleasing, high end finish that will enhance any property.
This gate is very low maintenance, it will not need repainting or treating each year, it just requires a wipe down with soapy water to keep it looking good.
It is available in several heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m heights. If you are planning on automating your gates, the feet can be removed, and in some instances other modifications are available, please contact us to discuss options.
The Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate comes with 4 wall-mounted hinges and 2 floor-mounted hinges. Allow an extra 50mm for the hinges. Posts are required if there is nothing to fix gate to and can be purchased separately. The lock and handle for the gate can be purchased as an add on for an additional price and it will be fitted to the gate before delivery.
The aluminium gates come with a 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee (Ready Made Gates).
