This Double Swing Driveway Gate is made from aluminium which is both strong and of light weight. The saline atmosphere of coastal regions is notoriously savage to metal, yet aluminium can withstand this too, so if you live by the sea, this type of gate would be a good choice for you.
The gate comes with a polyester powder coating in black or grey as standard and this gives it a defensive barrier against damage and rust. Available in the following heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m, it comes with 4 wall-mounted hinges and 2 floor-mounted hinges. Please allow an extra 50mm for the hinges when you are measuring up. Gate Posts are required if there is nothing to fix the gate to and can be bought separately. They may not be needed if the gate is to be set within two walls. The lock and handle for the gate can be purchased as an add on for an additional price and it will be fitted to the gate before delivery.
This gate requires little in the way of upkeep, to maintain its good looks it just needs to be washed down with soapy water and rinsed off. It is an eco-friendly choice too as aluminium is a recyclable metal.
