Size 8 Tube 90° Corner Swivel (A48) Key Clamp Fitting

The 90° Corner Swivel or A48 Fitting not only makes a horizontal tube within a structure become angled in its position, but it can also be used to create a 90° corner and change the tube’s direction completely. It is a combination fitting which comprises of one 90° Male Corner Swivel (A40) and two Female Swivel (A42) fittings. Due to the central through tube often being found at the top of stairs or ramps, this fitting is appropriate for use within the middle or lower parts of a guard rail structure.

Please Note: This Key Clamp Fitting is only compatible with Size 8 Tubes that possess an outside diameter of 48.3mm.

With no need for expensive equipment for the installation process, set up of this fitting is quick and easy with only a Hex Key required. This is used to tighten the Grub Screws and ensure that the structure is secured in place. A Hex Key is not included with the fitting and will need to be purchased separately.

We strongly advise against guardrail or handrail systems only consisting of swivel fittings as this would risk the structure’s stability and pose a risk of injury to its users.
