Size 8 Tube Female Swivel (A42) Key Clamp Fitting

A Female Swivel, also known as an A42 Key Clamp Fitting cannot be used as an individual product but is a component of various other key clamp fittings. Due to this multi-functionality, its versatility allows it to be used with other fittings to create various combinations of key clamps.

The combination fittings containing the Female Swivel:

• A42 Female Swivel + A36 Single Male Swivel = A44 Single Swivel
• A42 Female Swivel + A50 Male Swivel Locating Flange = A52 Swivel Locating Flange
• A42 Female Swivel + A38 Double Male Inline Swivel = A42 Female Swivel = A46 Double Inline Swivel
• A42 Female Swivel x 2 + A40 90° Male Corner Swivel = A48 Corner Swivel

Please note: This Female Swivel is only compatible with Size 8 Tubes with an outside diameter of 48.3mm.

We strongly advise that guardrail structures do not consist entirely of swivel type fittings, this is because the stability of the system could be weakened which would then cause a risk of injury to its user if it were to fail.

Installation of our Tube Clamps is made easy without the need for any expensive tools, all that is needed is a Hex Key (available to purchase separately). This is used to tighten the Grub Screws and ensure that the structure is fixed into place.
