4m x 3m 'Rowling' Timber Summer House
A 4m x 3m timber summer house will be a versatile, charming addition to your outdoor space. With four full-length windows and double doors, all double-glazed, it will give natural light in abundance to the interior, and a spacious entrance for moving bulky items in and out with ease.
Features and Benefits
This wooden garden building in the 'Rowling' range is made from Finnish Spruce timber which has a beautiful appearance with a warm, light colour and a straight grain pattern. It is a very durable wood which makes it such a reliable choice for garden houses, it has a natural resistance to decay which enables it to survive the outdoors with its changeable weather for many years, given the right maintenance. Measuring 4m x 3m and with a height of 2.4m there is plenty of space within this structure.
Timber garden houses are very customisable so you can personalise it how you wish. The structure can be painted or stained (it is recommended that, initially, this is done within 5 weeks of installation), shelves can be added inside and other interior elements can be included to make it reflect your personality. This is a good size garden house and could be used for a variety of purposes from storage to a games room or home gym.
Installation
This product arrives in flat pack form and requires assembly, if you have construction skills this will be relatively simple, however if in doubt, get a professional to do it for you. Each house comes with base beams to form the foundation of your shed, it is advised that this base is bolted to a concrete base (bolts not supplied with the kit). The wall boards slot together in a horizontal interlocking manner (see installation guide) to form each of the four walls, the apex roof is also supplied in this modular way and can be installed once the four walls are securely erected.
A timber structure requires maintenance to preserve the appearance and the integrity of the building, so cleaning, staining and sealing against moisture, insects and weathering will all need to be carried out. For this reason it is necessary to ensure you have access to all four walls of the structure when you are deciding where to site it in your garden.
