Apollo® 3.0m High x 5.0m Wide 358 Prison Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit
Designed to provide a strong, safe and easy-to-install access point, the 3.0m high x 5.0m wide single leaf 358 steel prison mesh gates are ideal for use on both public and private sites. With a strong mesh infill and imposing 3.0m height, these gates act as a deterrent to thieves and vandals.

High Quality Steel Construction
Each Apollo® 358 Prison Mesh Gate has been made from high-quality steel, with the gate frame featuring mitred corners. This creates a stronger frame whilst also removing sharp corners to provide a smooth and professional finish.
To increase the functional life span of these gates, each is then professionally finished with a Polyester Powder Coating. These coatings are available in a range of colours to match existing fencing systems or to create a visually striking access point. The Polyester Powder Coatings also provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against corrosion and rust.
Triple Hinge Design for Increased Safety
The 3.0m x 5.0m single-leaf Apollo® 358 Prison Mesh Gate features a triple-hinge design. The additional hinge reduces strain on the hinges by spreading the load over more points. It also acts as an additional support in the unlikely event of a single hinge failure, preventing the gate leaf from falling and causing potential injuries to users.
Modular Design for Easy and Flexible Installation
Designed with flexibility in mind, the Apollo® 358 prison mesh gates feature universally handed gate leaves, allowing the same gate leaf to be used for either left or right-hand hanging.
These steel mesh gates also feature a modular locking system, provided with a lockable slider as standard; these can be upgraded with a Gatemaster lock system quickly and easily at any time without the need to remove the gate leaf.
Prison Mesh Infill
The infills for these steel security gates consist of 358 mesh, also known as prison mesh. 358 mesh utilises many steel wires to create an infill with small gaps, which still offers a good level of visibility whilst also maximising strength. The small gaps between each wire eliminate the ability to find adequate hand or foot holds, acting as an ideal deterrent for those attempting to climb the gate.
Ground Surface Installation Options
The Apollo® 358 3.0m x 5.0m 358 steel mesh gates are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
- Bolt-Down Posts: These are designed for hard surfaces such as concrete, where digging in posts isn’t possible. Each post requires 4 x M16 x 125mm Ground Anchor Bolts.
- Dig-in posts: The dig-in posts are suitable for locations where holes can be dug for the posts and then secured in place with post mix. (Please see recommended quantities when ordering)
Locking Drop Bolt
Each of the 3.0m x 5.0m Apollo® 358 Mesh Gates is also supplied with a locking drop bolt, which can be used to hold the gate open for extended periods of time. It can also be used to further enhance security when the gate is closed.
