The Apollo® 1.8m x 4.0m Single Leaf Gate provides a high-security and robust access control solution for large entry points. With a 4.0m wide opening and 1.8m height, this gate is ideal for securing areas that require access for large vehicles such as HGVs, delivery lorries, and plant machinery. Whether for industrial premises, data centres, utility compounds, or public areas, it offers dependable performance where security is the highest priority.
Apollo® gates are designed to be fully compatible with a range of mesh fencing systems, including 358, 358D, 656, and 868 mesh, to create a secure and seamless perimeter.
Key Features
Fitted with a high-security 358 ‘prison mesh’ panel, this gate offers maximum resistance to vandalism, cutting, and forced entry. The mesh is formed from wires welded into a tight rectangular pattern. This dense configuration makes it incredibly difficult to cut with standard tools and offers no finger or toe holds, effectively preventing climbing.
Despite its formidable security, the mesh provides excellent visibility for CCTV surveillance, a crucial factor in modern security protocols. The apertures are specifically engineered to offer a clear line of sight whilst ensuring the highest level of perimeter defence.
Built with smooth, mitred corners to eliminate sharp edges, the Apollo® gate enhances safety for personnel and visitors. A durable Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) finish protects against rust and corrosion caused by harsh environmental conditions. Choose from a range of standard colour options to match your site aesthetics.
The modular design allows for a quick and straightforward installation process. The gate leaf can be mounted to open from either the left or right side, offering complete installation flexibility without needing to specify the orientation in advance.
A triple hinge setup ensures superior stability and long-term functionality for this wide gate leaf. By evenly distributing the gate’s weight, it reduces strain on each hinge point. Even in the rare event of a hinge issue, the remaining hinges maintain gate support, helping to prevent accidents and improve site safety in line with BS EN 12604.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with 358 Prison Mesh fencing, the gate is also fully compatible with existing 868 and 656 mesh systems, allowing it to be easily incorporated into new or existing perimeter layouts. Each kit includes:
