The Apollo 1.8m x 7.0m Double Leaf Gate Kit is a reliable and heavy-duty access solution, designed to secure wider entry points in busy or high-traffic environments. Built for Strength and Visibility
Engineered with 358 wire mesh panels, this gate features a tightly woven, rigid structure, which is designed to be tough to climb. This format is specifically designed to resist vandalism, cutting, and distortion. The open mesh design ensures visibility is maintained, making it suitable for areas that require surveillance or passive monitoring.
Flexible & Functional Design
With a total clear opening of 7.0 metres (3.5m per gate leaf), this gate comfortably accommodates foot traffic, maintenance teams, and light to medium-sized vehicles. Both gate leaves are universally hung, meaning they can be mounted on either side to suit your installation layout.
The frame is constructed with mitred corners, enhancing both structural integrity and visual finish, particularly important for wider gates that endure more regular movement and heavier use.
Weather-Resistant & Low-Maintenance
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel per BS EN 10346, and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS 13438, this gate is made to withstand the elements. The powder-coated finish provides UV protection and corrosion resistance, and is available in a wide variety of RAL colours to match or contrast with your existing fencing and branding.
Security and Locking Options
The gate is fitted with a sliding latch, which can be locked using a heavy-duty padlock. For enhanced security or compliance with emergency access regulations, this gate is also compatible with digital locking mechanisms and quick-exit devices. Drop bolts are included as standard and can be used to hold one or both gate leaves in place, whether open or closed.
Installation Options
The Apollo gate can be supplied with your choice of:
- Bolt-down posts for solid surfaces like concrete
- Dig-in posts for softer ground installations (requires post mix).
Please note that post mix and anchor bolts are not included and should be purchased separately, depending on your installation type.
