3.0m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate

Installing this 3.0m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into your Palisade Security fencing system will allow you to grant access to large vehicles that need to pass in and out of a site. At a width of 7.0m, this gate is wide enough for vehicles like vans and lorries to drive through. As well as providing an effective access point, this palisade gate will help to maintain the security of your premises and equipment when it is closed. It features two gate leaves which meet together when closed and these should be secured by the sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts provided in your gate kit. You can secure your palisade fencing and gate even further by using a Heavy-Duty Padlock.

This palisade gate may be used in various places; however its 3.0m height makes it more appropriate for locations that require a very high level of security. It can also be erected on a variety of ground types. The ground that you choose to assemble your security fencing and palisade gate upon will ultimately influence which gate posts you may use. Therefore, if you erect your gate on a hard ground surface you will need to use Bolt Down Posts, whereas if you erect your palisade gate on a softer type of ground then you will need to use Dig-In Posts instead. Features and Manufacture

This 3.0m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is made out of steel and is extremely durable and tough. It has been cold rolled to form its shape, which is really effective as it makes the steel more lightweight and thinner, but it does not decrease its original strength. There are a number of pales that feature within the palisade gate frame and these are designed to prevent potential intruders scaling the gate. The pales are very hard to grip onto because of their ‘W’ shaped profile and the head of each pale will feature a Flat, Triple Pointed, Single Pointed, Round or Round and Notched style, which also helps to hinder and restrict climbing activity. To provide your palisade gate with an intimidating appearance, we recommend that you use Triple Pointed or Single Pointed pales. As this palisade gate can be vulnerable to the development of rust, it is coated with a layer of zinc. This is called galvanisation and the finish meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. We also offer a Polyester Powder Coating finish for your gate. This type of finish will provide your palisade gate with extra protection against damage, corrosion and general wear, as well as giving it a more colourful and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Polyester Powder Coating is available in a variety of RAL colours. All of these options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.

All 3.0m x 7.0m double leaf palisade gates are sold with triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish. To change the pales or request a polyester powder coated finish, please complete the customisation section of the order page.

Gate Kit

We will supply our 3.0m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates as a kit, complete with all of the required components for gate assembly. The kit will contain the gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System, and a sliding latch bolt, along with pales, posts, drop bolts, hinges and fixing bolts. There will be no Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts supplied in your kit so this should be added to your shopping cart if this is required.
