3.0m x 5.0m Single Leaf Palisade Security Gate
You can easily install this 3.0m x 5.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate into a Palisade Security Fencing system to form a point of access for small sized vehicles. This palisade gate opens as one leaf to create a 5.0m wide driving space for vehicles like small vans, cars and forklifts. By installing this type of gate into your palisade security fencing system you can effectively control the accessibility of your site. The gate is secured shut with a sliding bolt and is then opened by the release of this bolt. A drop bolt also features in the lower section of the gate and this is also used to secure and then release the gate. You can supply your palisade fencing and gate with additional security by locking this gate with a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
Due to its 3.0m height, this gate is perfect for locations which possess a high security risk and therefore require a tall palisade security fencing system to protect the site. It can be erected on a range of hard and soft ground types. Bolt Down Posts are appropriate for gates constructed on hard ground, whereas Dig-In Posts are appropriate for palisade gates which are constructed on softer ground. You may also erect this type of gate on both level and sloped ground. However, this will require a custom hinge, and should be discussed with our fabrication department.
Features and Manufacture
With its great strength and robustness, this palisade gate not only offers security but also durability. Made from steel, it is lighter in weight and thinner due to the cold rolling process in which it has undergone for its manufacture; although this process does not in any way affect the strength of the steel. The gate is also given a galvanised finish which consists of coating the steel in zinc. This galvanised finish complies with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard and is applied to help in the prevention of rust development. There is also the option to polyester powder coat your palisade gate. By applying this type of finish, your gate is provided with extra protection from the effects of weathering and wear and tear, as well as being given a more colourful and aesthetically pleasing appearance. There are a number of pales which feature within this gate and they are designed to make climbing very difficult. The pales’ profile is ‘W’ shaped which makes it very tough for anyone to grip onto. You may also select either a Round, Round and Notched, Triple Pointed, Single Pointed or Flat style for the tops of your pales. Each of these pale heads help to restrict climbing and Single Pointed and Triple Pointed pales also work as a theft deterrent due to their intimidating appearance. The overall design of these pales is really effective in helping to prevent the intrusion of your site. All of these customisation options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
All 3.0m x 5.0m single leaf palisade gates will be supplied with the standard features of triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish, unless alternative features are selected through customisation.

We supply all of our gates as a kit so you can ensure that you have the right products and also the correct amount. Please note that we do not supply any Postfix cement or Ground Anchor Bolts with our kits so you will need to buy these as additional items.
You can customise your palisade gate by choosing from a range of options when you place your order. These options are Pale type, Post type, which gate finish you would like or the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock. By selecting any of these customisation options you can ensure your palisade gate looks and functions the way you need it to.
