By installing this 3.0m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into your palisade security fencing system, you can successfully provide an access point for small vehicles like forklifts and cars and keep your premises secure when your site is not in operation. This palisade gate consists of two gate leaves which open to a total width of 3.0m and they can be opened together or individually. To secure the gate shut the sliding latch bolt should be shifted across and the two drop bolts should be lowered into the ground below. To provide your security fencing and palisade gate with further security you can request a Heavy-Duty Padlock from the customisation section above.
At a height of 3.0m, this palisade gate can provide excellent security to your site. It can be constructed in a range of locations; however this gate is more appropriate for use in areas which require very high security measures. You can erect your security fencing and palisade gate using either Bolt Down or Dig-In Posts, but you must ensure that you select gate posts which are compatible for the type of ground which you intend to erect your gate upon. So, for hard ground types Bolt Down Posts should be employed, yet for soft ground types then Dig-In Posts will need to be employed. Post types can be chosen through customisation.
This 3.0m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is made out of cold rolled steel and is extremely robust. By cold rolling the steel it is lighter in weight, although still very strong. The palisade gate features several pales which all possess a ‘W’ shaped profile. The purpose of this is to make it difficult for anyone to grip the pales to then climb over. Climbing and intrusion is also greatly restricted due to the design of the pale heads. You can choose from Triple Pointed, Single Pointed, Round and Notched, Round, and Flat pale types. Round and Flat pale types offer more safety to your Palisade Gate, whereas Pointed pale types have more of an imposing appearance and work well as a theft deterrent. You can also find these options when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
The palisade gate is galvanised in order to help prevent the development of rust. This finish complies with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and is carried out by applying a layer of zinc to the steel. You can also provide extra protection to your gate by choosing to have a Polyester Powder Coating. This type of finish helps to protect the palisade gate from damage, weathering and general wear as well as providing it more visibility. We offer Polyester Powder Coating in a wide range of RAL colours. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
We provide all of our 3.0m x 3.0m double leaf palisade gates with triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish as standard. If you would like your gate to feature different pale types or have a polyester powder coated finish, please complete the customisation section located at the top of this page.
We supply our 3.0m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates as a kit. You will receive the correct amount of posts, pales, fixing bolts, drop bolts and hinges within your kit, as well as one sliding latch bolt and a gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. This means that you will not need to work out how many of item you need, and items will not need to be ordered individually. Please note that we do not supply Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts in our kits. If you do require any cement or ground anchor bolts, you will need to place an additional order for this.
You can tailor your palisade gate to your needs by completing the customisation section. Here, you will be able to choose your required gate posts, pales and finish or opt to have a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
