Designed to keep your property and premises from theft and vandalism, the 3.0m x 1.2m pedestrian palisade gate is the ideal solution for pedestrian access to your site. Including a separate point of entry or exit to a fenced in perimeter for pedestrians and vehicles greatly reduces the risk of collision based accidents and injuries.
Palisade fencing has been in use to protect farms, towns and villages for hundreds of years. Back then it was constructed from timber and in todays modern societies you are highly unlikely to see any protecting the village from invaders. Our range of palisade fencing is constructed from high quality cold rolled steel and consists of vertical bar sections which are known as pales. These are held securely in place with two horizontal bars, one running across the bottom and one across the top. The pales are spaced out along these rails in such a way that provides a great level of visibility without compromising on security.
Each of our 3.0m x 1.2m Palisade Pedestrian gates provides an incredible level of protection against would be intruders, whilst still providing a high level of visibility which is ideal for any additional security systems such as CCTV.
These palisade pedestrian gates have been constructed from high quality cold rolled steel. The use of cold rolled steel means that each gate is incredibly strong and resistant to damage which may be caused by intruders attempting to gain entry, whilst remaining light enough to allow for easy transportation and installation.
There are several deterrents to prevent any unwanted persons from gaining access to your premises via climbing. The first of which is the height, standing at 3.0m high (installed height) these palisade gates are the tallest standard pedestrian gates that we currently provide. This height creates an intimidating fence line which would be considered too tall to climb by many would be intruders.
The second deterrent would be the W shaped profile of each of the vertical pales. This Shape makes it incredibly difficult to grip on to sufficiently to be able to climb over.
The third deterrent would be the tops of each pale, which are tipped with either a triple pointed, single point or round and notched end (Lead times may apply). These points add to the intimidation factor of these gates and will make it even more difficult for would be intruders to gain access to your site by climbing.
Some of the benefits of using palisade fencing to secure your premises include:
Each 3.0m x 1.2m palisade pedestrian gate kit is supplied with the following items:
As standard, each of our palisade gates are galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards to prevent the formation of rust and to keep your gate looking great for years to come.
In addition to this galvanised finish, it is also possible to have your gate finished in a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These are available in a wide range of RAL colours and can help to provide your perimeter with an aesthetically pleasing finish, whilst also providing a secondary layer of protection against weathering and rust. (Lead times for PPC finishes may apply)
