2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
The 2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate provides a secure access point for vans and lorries, while maintaining the protection of a high-security palisade perimeter. The gate consists of two 3.5m wide leaves, which can be opened individually or together. When closed, the leaves meet in the centre and are secured using a sliding latch bolt and two ground-level drop bolts.
For additional security, a heavy-duty padlock can be added as a customisation option.
Strong & Secure Construction
Manufactured from cold-rolled steel, the gate offers excellent strength and durability while keeping the construction lightweight.
The pales feature a W-shaped profile, making them difficult to grip or climb. A choice of pale tops is available to further deter climbing and unauthorised access:
- Round and Notched
- Single Pointed
- Triple Pointed
Pointed pale profiles also provide a strong visual deterrent against attempted intrusion and theft.
Galvanised & PPC Finishes
The gate is galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009, providing a protective zinc coating that helps prevent rust and corrosion.
For additional protection and a customised appearance, the gate can be supplied with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a range of RAL colours. This provides an extra layer of protection against weathering, wear and corrosion.
The gate is supplied with a galvanised finish and triple pointed pales as standard, with alternative pale profiles and PPC finishes available as customisation options.
Choose Your Post Type
The gate can be installed on a variety of ground types, provided the correct post configuration is selected:
- Dig-in posts: Suitable for softer ground where posts can be installed into excavated holes.
- Bolt-down posts: Designed for harder surfaces such as concrete, using a pre-attached base plate and ground anchors.
Select your preferred gate posts when placing your order.
Gate Kit
The 2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is supplied as an assembly kit, containing the relevant components and fixings required for installation.
Please note: Post mix and ground anchor bolts are not included and must be purchased separately where required.
Our Palisade range is supplied unassembled, so the gate will need to be assembled on-site. For further information, please refer to our Palisade installation guide.
