2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can be installed into a Palisade Security Fencing system of the same height in order to form an entry point for vans and lorries. The addition of this palisade gate would enable you to manage who accesses your site and keep your premises secure and protected when the site is not in operation. There are two gate leaves which make up this gate and each of these are 3.5m wide. The gate leaves can be opened individually or at the same time and when closed, meet in the middle. When closed, the palisade gate is secured by a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts which lower into the ground. There is also the option to use a Heavy-Duty Padlock and this is available as a customisation choice which will increase security for your palisade fencing and gate.
You can erect this gate in a range of different places; however at a height of 2.4m, this palisade gate is more appropriate for areas which require higher security measures. The gate is also very versatile due to its ability to be erected on various ground types. As Bolt Down Posts are designed for hard ground and Dig-In Posts are designed for soft ground, it is important that you select posts that are compatible with the ground your security fencing and palisade gate will be constructed on. Features & Manufacture
Made from steel, this 2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate offers fantastic strength and durability. It has undergone a cold rolling process for its manufacture, which means that the steel is made thinner and lighter in weight, but without affecting its original level of strength. This palisade gate features several pales within its construction, and each of these has been specifically designed to limit climbing activity and intrusion. The profile of every pale is ‘W’ in shape, making it hard for anyone to grip or gain a footing on them. The top of each pale also features either a Flat, Round and Notched, Round, Single Pointed or Triple Pointed design, which also restricts people from scaling the gate. To prevent the palisade gate from rusting, the steel is galvanised. This galvanisation process meets BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and consists of a layer of zinc being applied to the steel. For extra protection, a Polyester Powder Coating can be applied to the gate. This type of finish comes in a range of RAL colours and makes the palisade gate more resilient to wear and tear, corrosion and damage. Polyester Powder Coating is also a great way to make your gate more visible or aesthetically pleasing. We provide all our 2.4m x 7.0m double leaf palisade gates with a standard galvanised finish and with triple pointed pales; however, this can be modified by selecting alternative customisation options.
Gate Kit
All of our 2.4m x 7.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are sold as an assembly kit. Within your kit, you will receive the relevant parts and fixings for the assembly of your gate, which means that you will not need to calculate how many of each item is required or order them separately. No Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts are supplied in our kits, so if you require these, please make an additional purchase.
