This 2.4m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is really useful when vehicle access is needed on a site. By installing this type of gate into your Palisade Security Fencing, you can successfully enable vehicles like forklifts, cars and small vans to enter a site when required, as well as keep your property secure. When the palisade gate is shut, it merges with the surrounding fencing structure and is secured by a sliding latch bolt and two lower drop bolts, which slot into the ground. For extra palisade fencing and gate security, you can lock the sliding latch bolt with a Heavy Duty Padlock.

Standing 2.4m high, this palisade gate is appropriate for high-security locations. The great thing about this gate is that it can be constructed on many different ground types. However, you must make sure that you use the correct posts when erecting your security fencing and palisade gate, as each post type has different ground compatibilities. This means that for soft ground types, Dig-In Posts will need to be employed, but for hard ground types, Bolt Down Posts will be required. You can choose your specified gate posts from the customisation section when completing your order.

Features and Manufacture

Strong and long-lasting, this 2.4m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer you fantastic site security. It is made out of quality steel, which has been cold rolled for its manufacture, and this means that it is more lightweight but still just as strong. Within the construction of the palisade gate, there are several pales. Each pale has been moulded to take on a ‘W’ shaped profile, and this is to make them difficult to grip so that climbing attempts are restricted. The top of each pale also features a Round, Round and Notched, Flat, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed design. The purpose of this is to hinder climbing activity, with pointed pales also functioning as an effective theft deterrent. This palisade gate is also galvanised to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. This means that it has better protection from rust development, due to a zinc coating. There is also the option to choose a Polyester Powder Coating finish for your gate. This type of finish provides your palisade gate with more resilience to weathering and general wear, along with a brighter appearance, which is more aesthetically pleasing for the environment in which it will stand. All of our 2.4m x 6.0m double leaf palisade gates come supplied with a galvanised finish and triple pointed pales as standard. You may customise your gate if you wish it to feature alternative pales or a Polyester Powder Coating finish.

Gate Kit

We sell our 2.4m x 6.0m Double Leaf Gates as a kit, complete with all the required parts and fixings. This is very handy as items will not need to be purchased individually. We will not supply any Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts within our kits, so if you require this, then you will need to place an additional order.
