2.4m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 2.4m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is useful for creating a point of entry for small vehicles in a Palisade Security Fencing structure. The installation of this gate will enable you to manage the accessibility of your site, as well as keep your property protected when it is not in use. This palisade gate has two gate leaves and opens to a full width of 3.0m, making it suitable for the access of vehicles like forklifts. To secure the gate when closed, you should shift the sliding latch bolt across and lower the drop bolts into the ground. To secure your palisade fencing and gate even more, a Heavy-Duty Padlock may be attached to the sliding latch bolt. To obtain a Heavy-Duty Padlock, please select it as a customisation option.
As this palisade gate stands at a height of 2.4m, it is generally considered to be more appropriate for locations requiring high security measures. This gate is extremely versatile and may be constructed on both hard and soft types of ground. To erect this palisade gate on a soft ground type, for example grass, you will need to use Dig-In posts and Postfix cement. However, to erect this gate on a hard ground surface such as concrete, you will need to use Bolt Down posts. Therefore, it is important to choose posts which are compatible with the ground you intend to assemble your security fencing and palisade gate upon.

With great strength and resilience, this 2.4m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can offer fantastic site security on a permanent basis. The palisade gate is made from quality steel which has undergone a cold rolling process to form its unique shape. Cold rolling the steel makes it become thinner, yet its strength is not reduced in any way. This gate is also designed to be ‘anti-climb’ so intruders cannot gain access to your premises. This is achieved through the ‘W’ profile shape of the pales, as this shape makes them hard to grip. You can also choose Flat, Round and Notched, Round, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed pales to feature in your palisade gate. Each of these pale types will help to restrict climbing; with Pointed pales also working as an effective theft deterrent to discourage potential intruders from attempting to scale the gate. All of these options can also be found when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
The palisade gate is also given a zinc coating layer to help prevent rust from developing on the steel. This is known as a galvanised finish and it complies with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. Your 2.4m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can also be polyester powder coated if further protection is needed against weathering and general wear. This type of finish can also make your palisade gate more colourful and visible in the environment that it will stand. To request a Polyester Powder Coating colour for your gate you must select it from the customisation section located at the top of this page. All of these customisable options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
As Standard, 2.4m x 3.0m double leaf palisade gates will be provided with triple pointed pales and a galvanised finish. You can modify these elements by choosing other customisation preferences above
Gate Kit
Every 2.4m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate will be sold as an assembly kit. This kit will include the correct number of fixing bolts, hinges, pales, posts and drop bolts, along with a sliding latch bolt and gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. This is really handy as it will guarantee you will have all the required components ready to start construction right away. If Postfix cement is required for Dig-In posts, or ground anchor bolts for bolt down posts, you will need to buy this separately as this will not be included within your kit.
