Installation – The Steel Site Hoarding systems are designed to be a temporary solution and as such are installed using concrete or thermoplastic feet and temporary fencing couplers. This modular design allows them to be quickly and easily moved depending on the site needs. SteelWall on the other hand, is designed to be a semi-permanent solution for long term construction projects, featuring posts which are dug into the ground.
Ground type: Steel site hoarding is an ideal choice for locations where ground disturbance is not permitted or may be costly. The feet system can be placed onto the ground surface and the hoarding panels then inserted without creating any damage to the ground. These will need to be placed on more level ground, so are ideal for locations where the ground is surfaced with concrete or tarmac.
SteelWall hoarding is more suited to construction sites where the ground may be more uneven, such as fields where construction is taking place, where the ground may be more uneven. As these posts need to be dug in, it allows for the hoarding to be levelled out, which is not possible with site hoarding.
Installation time – Steel Site Hoarding is considered to be a faster form of hoarding to install, due to its modular design and no need to prepare the ground and dig holes for the posts, which is the case for SteelWall.

How do I install Steel Site Hoarding?

Steel Site Hoarding panels are quick and easy to install, requiring only a standard or anti-tamper coupler spanner.

Position the feet – Position your thermoplastic or concrete feet at the correct width for the panel on a flat and stable surface.

Attach your panels – insert the vertical bar ends of each hoarding panel into the slots on the feet.

Secure with couplers – This is the only step that requires a tool in the form of a standard or anti-tamper coupler spanner. Attach the coupler to the vertical posts of the two panels to be joined together. Tighten with a coupler spanner, to securely connect two panels, it is recommended to use at least 2 standard or anti-tamper couplers per connection.

Add stabilisers and other accessories – For increased stability, stabilising systems can be added. Other accessories such as infills which further increase privacy are also available.
