2.4m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit

The 2.4m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit provides a strong and hard-wearing solution for securing outdoor areas and creating clear boundaries.

Ideal for schools, parks, gardens and public spaces, these railings can help prevent unauthorised access while maintaining a clean and professional appearance. With both dig-in and bolt-down posts available, the system can be installed on a range of ground types.

Durable Galvanised Steel Construction

Manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel, the railings are built for long-term performance. The galvanised finish provides a protective barrier against weathering, rust and corrosion while giving the system a clean silver appearance.

Each panel features 20mm diameter round vertical bars, spaced 120mm apart from centre to centre. Two 10mm thick horizontal bars secure the vertical bars, positioned along the bottom and 150mm from the top of the panel. The panels are supported by 70mm x 70mm hollow box section posts and two supporting legs, providing additional strength and rigidity.

For a customised finish, the railing system can be supplied with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a wide range of RAL colours. As well as creating an attractive, professional finish, the powder coating provides an additional layer of protection against weathering and corrosion.

Choose Your Post Type

The 2.4m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit is available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.

• Dig-in posts: Suitable for softer ground where holes can be excavated. The longer posts are installed into the ground and secured using post mix.
• Bolt-down posts: Ideal for harder surfaces such as concrete. These posts feature a pre-attached base plate and can be secured using ground anchor bolts.

• 1 x Vertical Bar Railing Post
• 4 x Vertical Bar Railing Angle Cleats
• 6 x M10 x 30mm Bolts
• 2 x M10 x 90mm Bolts
• 8 x M10 Shear Nuts
• 2 x Support Legs

Installation

The railing panels are designed for straightforward installation using the supplied cleats and fixings.

1. Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the required cleat position.
2. Open the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolts.
3. Touch up and spray the hole if required.
4. Attach the cleat using the appropriate square cup head bolt and shear nut.
5. Attach the railing panel following standard installation guidance.

For 0.9m–1.2m systems, use an M10 x 70mm square cup head bolt and shear nut. For 1.5m–2.4m systems, use an M10 x 80mm square cup head bolt and shear nut.

Please ensure spacing follows the existing hole centres on the posts.
