2.4m High Standard Railing Post Kit
Our 2.4m High Standard Railing Posts are designed to provide a strong, secure foundation for 2.4m high vertical bar, bow top and ball top railing systems. Combining robust steel construction with excellent corrosion resistance, these posts are suitable for a wide range of perimeter fencing applications, including commercial premises, schools, parks and public spaces.
Whether you're installing a new railing system or replacing an existing post, you can choose from bolt-down or dig-in fixing options, together with either a galvanised or Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) finish to match your project's requirements.

Manufactured from high-quality steel, every post is hot-dip galvanised to provide long-lasting protection against rust, corrosion and the effects of the British weather. Choose Your Fixing Method
Dig-In Posts
Dig-in posts are intended for use in locations where the ground can be excavated. Once positioned, the post is secured below ground level using post mix (sold separately), creating a stable and permanent installation. This option is particularly well suited to landscaped areas, grass verges, parks and other soft ground applications.
Bolt-Down Posts
Bolt-down posts are the ideal solution for installations on existing hard surfaces such as concrete, paving slabs or prepared foundations. A welded base plate allows each post to be securely fixed using ground anchor bolts (available separately), providing a quick and effective installation without the need for digging.
Finish Options
- Galvanised: Hot-dip galvanised to deliver outstanding corrosion resistance and a durable silver finish suitable for outdoor environments.
- Polyester Powder Coated (PPC): A premium powder-coated finish applied over the galvanised steel, offering enhanced weather protection and a smart decorative appearance. Available in black, green, red, blue, grey and yellow.
