2.4m High Standard Bow Top Railing Kit

The 2.4m High Standard Bow Top Railing Kit provides a strong and stylish way to secure outdoor perimeters and boundaries.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, these railings offer excellent durability and protection against weathering and corrosion. Their tall 2.4m height helps deter climbing, while the bow top design creates a non-threatening, attractive appearance.

Ideal for parks, gardens, schools, universities and other public or private outdoor spaces, the railing kits provide reliable security without compromising on aesthetics.

Durable Galvanised Steel Construction

The railing panels feature a series of bows made from 20mm diameter hollow tubes, secured by two 10mm horizontal bars. These are supported by 70mm x 70mm hollow box section posts, with two supporting legs for additional strength.

The galvanised finish provides a protective zinc coating that helps guard against rust and corrosion while creating a clean silver appearance. For additional protection and a customised finish, the railings can be supplied with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a wide range of RAL colours. If the coating is damaged, it can be easily restored using spray touch-up cans.

Choose Your Post Type

The 2.4m High Standard Bow Top Railing Kit is available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts, allowing it to be installed on a variety of ground surfaces.

• Dig-in posts: Designed for softer ground where holes can be excavated. The post is installed into the ground and secured using post mix.
• Bolt-down posts: Suitable for harder surfaces such as concrete where excavation may not be possible. These posts feature a pre-attached base plate and can be secured using ground anchor bolts.

Each Kit Includes

Each 2.4m High Standard Bow Top Railing Kit contains:

• 1 x Bow Top Railing Panel
• 1 x Bow Top Railing Post
• 4 x Bow Top Railing Angle Cleats
• 6 x M10 x 30mm Bolts
• 2 x M10 x 90mm Bolts
• 8 x M10 Shear Nuts
• 2 x Support Legs

Installation

The railing panels are designed for straightforward installation using the supplied cleats and fixings.

For installation:

1. Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the required cleat position.
2. Open the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolts.
3. Touch up and spray the hole if required.
4. Attach the cleat using the appropriate square cup head bolt and shear nut.
5. Attach the railing panel following standard installation guidance.

For 0.9m–1.2m systems, use an M10 x 70mm square cup head bolt and shear nut. For 1.5m–2.4m systems, use an M10 x 80mm square cup head bolt and shear nut.

Please ensure spacing follows the existing hole centres on the posts.

Add a Bow Top Railing Gate to create a secure access point for pedestrians or vehicles. Available as single or double leaf gates, with widths up to 10m, the gates can be supplied with dig-in or bolt-down posts and customised with a Polyester Powder Coating to match your railing system.
